Visual Cues for Drag-and-Dropping Files
Dragging and dropping files on websites can be a hit or miss experience, leaving users unsure if the action will be accepted or result in unintended consequences. Droppable Areas aims to solve this problem by providing visual cues during file drag-and-drop interactions on Chrome.
This Chrome extension adds a simple yet effective feature - when a website accepts drag-and-drop actions, a green label appears next to the cursor, indicating readiness. Conversely, when a site does not support drag-and-drop, a red "NO DROP" label is displayed, preventing accidental file opening in new windows. This small but handy tool enhances user experience by making the web more intuitive and user-friendly.
